The effect usually lasts for about a year. A refresher treatment can then be carried out.
Have wrinkled hands treated
The forgotten signs of ageing: While the face is usually the focus of anti-ageing efforts, our hands often unintentionally reveal our true age. As we get older, the skin on the back of our hands becomes thinner and the protective subcutaneous fatty tissue disappears. As a result, tendons, veins and bone structures become more prominent. At the same time, years of sun exposure leave their mark in the form of age spots - brownish pigmentation that makes the skin appear uneven.
Individualised diagnostics as the basis for successful hand rejuvenation
In our practice, every hand rejuvenation begins with a thorough analysis. We examine the exact condition of your hands: How severe is the loss of volume? What role do pigment changes play? How is the elasticity of the skin? Only after this detailed assessment do we develop a customised treatment concept that is optimally tailored to your needs.
Treatment
Modern aesthetic medicine offers various effective methods for rejuvenating the hands:
Innovative laser therapies such as Fraxel® or picosecond lasers combat pigmentation spots in a targeted and gentle manner while stimulating the body's own collagen production for a firmer skin structure.
Specially developed hyaluronic acid-based fillers restore lost volume to the back of the hand. As a result, protruding veins and tendons fade into the background. This method, known from the facial area, also ensures a plump, vital skin appearance on the hands and also promotes moisture retention.
Bioactive collagen stimulators (e.g. Radiesse® or Sculptra® ) stimulate the natural formation of collagen and thus ensure lasting firmness and harmonised volume. Both substances are injected under the skin in a fan shape using a fine cannula and then gently distributed to achieve a natural result.
For optimum results, we often use combination treatments that treat both pigmentation problems and lack of volume.

When does hand rejuvenation make sense?
The treatment is particularly recommended if aesthetic procedures have already been carried out on the face and the hands appear older as a result. Rejuvenation of the hands ensures a harmonious overall appearance.
Aftercare
Aftercare depends on the chosen treatment method.
In general, direct sunlight (UV light, solarium) should be avoided for 4 weeks after treatment. To prevent the signs of skin ageing, we recommend the regular use of a high level of sun protection (SPF 50+).
You will receive detailed information during your consultation.
