Microneedling and BB-Glow
Microneedling with the Dermapen 4 is a very effective minimally invasive therapy for improving skin quality, rejuvenating the skin, reducing pigmentation spots (melasma, sun spots) and refining scars and stretch marks. The treatment can be used on the entire face and also on the body.
How does microneedling work?
Micro-injuries with a depth of 0.5-2.5mm are created in the skin using many tiny needle pricks (1300 pricks per second). At the same time, highly concentrated active ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, antioxidants or vitamin serums are worked into the skin. In the natural healing phase that follows, collagen production is stimulated and the skin regains its elasticity and resilience.
Depending on the skin condition, we recommend combining the treatment with a mild to strong peeling or with another complementary form of treatment.
The microneedling treatment
To achieve optimum results, we recommend pre- and post-treatment with Dermapen dermaceuticals. The products can be purchased from us at the Face & Body Atelier. The skin should be pre-treated with the recommended products at least one week before the treatment so that the skin can regenerate in the best possible way. Face and eye make-up should be completely removed one hour before the treatment. Immediately before the treatment, photos are taken with the VISIA Gen7 to document the treatment results. The treatment lasts around 40-60 minutes. A soothing and calming face mask is applied at the end.
