When injecting wrinkles with fillers, we use high-quality hyaluronic acid to restore lost volume and fill in deeper wrinkles.
Hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid, a natural component of connective tissue, binds water and ensures firm, elastic skin. The hyaluronic acid content decreases with age, causing the skin to sag and wrinkles to deepen. Artificially produced hyaluron replaces this deficit and gives the skin freshness and volume.
There are permanent and non-permanent fillers, whereby the latter, such as hyaluronic acid, are preferred as they are broken down by the body and are characterised by good tolerance. At Face Atelier, we only use degradable hyaluronic fillers.
Application:
- Nasolabial folds
- Lip augmentation and lip contouring
- Cheek augmentation
- Marionette wrinkles
- Acne treatment
- Reduction of dark circles
- Skin hydration (skin booster)
The treatment is carried out using fine injections, with local anaesthetic if required. The results are immediately visible and usually last 9 to 12 months.
Skinbooster for skin improvement
Rehydration of the skin plays a central role in aesthetic medicine. The Skinbooster uses a special hyaluronic acid product that is injected deep under the skin with a blunt cannula to improve elasticity and skin structure and reduce fine lines. Unlike conventional fillers, the Skinbooster provides comprehensive hydration and makes the skin look fresher and more radiant.
This treatment is suitable for all skin types and age groups, especially for acne scars or sun-damaged skin. It can be used on the face, hands, neck and décolleté, also as a complement to surgical procedures such as facelifts or laser treatments.
Products used
We use products from Teoxane Laboratories in Geneva. The fillers have a unique RHA technology. Teoxane Laboratories is the first company to emphasise the natural movement of your face with its innovative TEOSYAL RHA® product line.
Risks and side effects
The treatment is generally well tolerated and possible side effects are generally mild and only temporary. Slight discomfort may occur immediately after the injection, but this will subside after two days.
Possible side effects include localised bruising and temporary redness or swelling at the injection site. Allergic reactions are very rare. After taking blood-thinning medication, e.g. aspirin, you should wait a week before treatment, as otherwise the risk of haematoma may be increased.
