Reconstructive surgery and interdisciplinary team
After or as part of surgical removal of the skin and tissue area affected by malignant melanoma, targeted reconstructive techniques are used. Reconstructive surgery is a crucial aspect of comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer treatment which, in addition to the complete removal of cancer cells, restores the functionality and appearance of the affected area. We take a different approach depending on the size, depth and location of the defect. To ensure the best possible result, we always work together in multidisciplinary teams.
