The Centre for Plastic Surgery
The Centre for Plastic Surgery evolved out of the former Day Clinic, La Mandragore, which was founded by Dr Cédric A. George in 1993. Over the last 29 years it has gained a first-class national and international reputation in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
Our stylishly furnished centre is located at the prestigious Pyramid Clinic, very close to the city centre of Zurich. You won’t find a trace of the typical hospital or medical practice atmosphere at our centre. Instead, a warm and personal ambience awaits.
Dr George’s team comprises several doctors in various specialist fields and areas of expertise. They have in-depth education and training and many years of professional experience. They are responsive to the needs and preferences of our patients and take their responsibilities seriously. They advocate for the principle of natural beauty and only carry out surgery if it makes sense and is medically justifiable.
Outpatient and inpatient procedures
With many surgical procedures in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, patients can choose between an outpatient or inpatient approach. Minor, short, low-risk procedures are often carried out in our Day Clinic, where we have a fully equipped, state-of-the-art operating theatre. The patient can be discharged on the day of the procedure.
On the other hand, for major surgical procedures or complex operations, for high-risk patients or for increased comfort, the surgery will be carried out on an inpatient basis. After surgery of this kind, you will spend one or more nights at the Pyramid Clinic where you will be expertly and attentively cared for by the clinic’s nursing staff.
You will find light, airy rooms with attractive interior design featuring great attention to detail and a wonderful view. We want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. After all, the better you feel, the greater your chances of making a good recovery.
