Orthopaedic surgery

Our orthopaedic surgeons specialise in changes and malformations in the musculoskeletal system. The musculoskeletal system includes the bones, muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments.

Problematic changes in these parts of the body can be congenital or caused by degenerative diseases, infections or accidents. Frequent symptoms include chronic pain and impaired function of the parts of the body affected. Initially, conservative methods are used with the aim of bringing about improvement. If these methods do not work, surgical treatments can be carried out.

Areas of orthopaedics
